Telehealth, or virtual therapy, is offered using various formats such as audio and video sessions. My practice is exclusively virtual therapy in which I offer individual and group therapy services. Group therapy meets weekly utilizing Zoom as the meeting room.
Sessions are generally 45-60 minutes in length. This works similarly to a regular face-to-face session in an office. We would meet once per week, or as often as needed, at an agreed upon time. I use a HIPPA compliant software program by Simple Practice that is easy to use and reliable. You could connect via your phone or personal computer.
Individual therapy is often the place to start. It is an essential component to the DBT program and needed for focusing on specific issues that an individual wants to work on. I offer individual therapy to both adults and adolescents. And because therapy is often an investment of time and money, I offer flexible scheduling options to meet most busy schedules.

Group therapy is offered in our weekly DBT skill building groups. We have multiple groups each week to choose from to fit around busy schedules. Each group is taught by intensively trained DBT therapists, each with years of experience. The skills taught in group help lay the foundation for creating a more stable future and in building the life you want. The group follows the DBT curriculum and is divided into 4 modules covering skills in areas of mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.
